You’ll play a young woman in her early 20s who has been away at college for two years without once visiting her hometown. In an attempt to get over her forbidden love interest.
A few days before summer vacation, she receives a phone call from her mother, who tells her that the man she’s been in love with for years is getting married.

Note: you have to actually set your character to look different so it'll show up in-game and not as $EyeColor. It doesn't matter who you pick as your lead; make sure to set both their names up.

Is the story for the stepbrother route done after his reaction? I’d really love a conclusion to the story to see if the marriage actually goes through!
Also, somewhat unrelated, will it ever be explained why the stepbro’s coworkers look at her like dirt when they first meet?

Edit: I did it :) Yay!! I'll be working on Beta, and even if I'm not completely done with the path, I'll upload what I have so you guys can play it. It'll probably be sometime in May.
Loving the concept and what I've seen so far of this. Couple minor bugs -- your probably aware of them, but just in case, here's one that leapt out at me:
So I picked the friend's brother route, as the whole step brother thing wasn't my cup of tea. On that path, there was a problem where some of the text seemed predicated towards the step brother path, unfortunately, i.e. this here --> ""His name is Ruin, my mom married his dad a couple of years ago." You say holding your breath a bit at the judgment that the soon to come after, you knew it was wrong to have these types of feels towards your Madison older brother but you couldn't help it."
Also, in the beginning, when I try to set names and such and then use the hyperlinks to do character descriptions, the name becomes unsaved.
Anyway, good luck with the project. The story feels strong and interesting, and certainly relatable for most of us.

Thank you for playing. I've since fixed that bit. I think I may have gotten some of my passages mixed up, and that's why the "Best friend's brother" path was messed up. I didn't know about the names becoming unsaved, though I'll get right on it. Thank you again for letting me know.
a;sldkjfwoiwj MC is messyyyyyy but I love it so much. That aside, take as much time as you need with the game. Things like this are a passion project at the best of times and it can take a lot out of you, espeically if you aren't in the best place emotionally. Hope that you'll be feeling better soon enough!

I unfortunately need like two more months before I'll be done. I won't go too into the details, although I had some personal stuff that happened in life, and it completely threw me off my game.
To make up for not having a finished game by the original timeline, feel free to reply to this comment with suggestions of certain scenes or even some fun and or naughty dialogue options, you'd like to experience in-game.

Enjoying what you have so far - I quite like the writing, though an editing pass wouldn't go amiss to catch things like "If you can ruin a relationship on accident, well on purpose.". Also, do the values of the appearance variables not allow spaces or something? The occasional "his pearly whites and sparkling blue_eyes" is a bit jarring.
Any idea when you might finish this one?
I definitely didn't see that mistake, I'll try to spell check or maybe get someone with fresh eyes to look over it before I put out the finished project. Thanks for letting me know. I actually have no idea, because sometimes I can do spaces with variables and sometimes I can't...
It's very trial and error to be honest. I want to say mid-summer if not at the end of summer, is when this one will be done because it is mostly writing, and that's one of the things I'm not half bad at :)
